Tour de Trigs - Training Event

posted 3 Sep 2013, 03:56 by Peter Knight
Are you interested in taking part in a challenge walk in north Oxfordshire in December? The annual Tour de Trigs event takes place over a 30-mile or 50-mile route, to be completed in 24 hours.

It is an excellent, if strenuous, way to gain useful experience and skills for a DofE expedition.

The official website with full information is: http://www.tourdetrigs.org.uk/

Training for this year's Tour is available on 15th September at the Windmill Centre in Deddington from 14.00 - 17.00, and there will be various people there to assist and answer any queries you may have concerning the preparation you should make for the Tour and the skills needed to ensure that you can navigate over the countryside whatever the weather and time of day.

The Windmill Centre is clearly marked off the Hempton Road; see the following link for a map:

Don't forget to sign up so that we can ensure we know how many people to expect.
We look forward to seeing you on the 15th September.
